Mam, I will miss you so much. We have had the best family life anyone could ever ask for.
I miss your crazy little sayings and singing silly songs.
Love all your stories about wartime, your family life and meeting and marrying your soul mate.
These stories will live on through my memories. Rest in peace Mam.
Love always, Alison xxx

My mam who loved me all my 64 years is at rest now. She will be with my dad and the rest of her loving family and friends. Her love, care and generosity was unconditional. You welcomed with open arms my husband 42 years ago. Our daughter came along 35 years ago, you were a wonderful grandma. So proud you had that title, loving every precious moment with your granddaughter, seeing her grow up in front of your very eyes. you had a beautiful relationship with her. Firstly, you were her carer taking her from being a baby to being a teenager. This you did all that time to enable me to work part-time. I then became sick eventually leaving work altogether. When my dad died I saw you more and we spoke frequently. It was in these moments where I saw and heard the real you as you recountered stories of your past which fascinated me no end.

I will love and miss you so, so much. Cannot bear the thought of not seeing your happy, smiling face again. Sleep tight my lovely mam, until we meet again. Goodnight xxxx
