Enid , my "aunt" really a close friend of mother, I always remember her as the aunt who gave me "proper" Christmas presents. not socks or scarves but toys that fit my model railway and other useful things which could entertain a young boy for a long time. Enid was always there when we were growing up and later on she made welcome my girlfriend who came to England to study while I worked in Africa. Enid was a regular visitor of mother when she was in a care home where I met her regularly . she will be missed by all of us who knew her

I met you as “Auntie Enid” during a challenging period in my life; far away from my home and everything that I was used to. You showed me kindness, which helped me feel welcome and at home; that I have not forgotten. I will remember you as “Auntie Enid”, an elegant and generous lady with a kind heart.

Aunty Enid was my Godmother and I have known her all my life. With no true Aunts and Uncles she was one of those very special people in our family.
A true Lady, with high standards and a love of good food, especially deserts.
She dealt with many of life's challenges with bravery and strength and supported many others to the best of her ability.
Our family will all miss her very much and hope that she is now at peace.
With all our love, Stuart and Angeline xx

Dear Enid, my friend for many many years, you will be a big miss to lots off people but especially to me.
However my loss is Gods gain as he now has a very special Angel in Heaven.
You always said that Chris, you and I were the three Musketeers, now we are two but the third one will never be forgotten.
Lots of love Enid Sleep tight, God Bless.

Enid will always be an inspiration to me. Eternally optimistic, effortlessly well dressed, funny, thoughtful, gracious and always had an extra chocolate biscuit to give us as kids. Gone but not forgotten, rest in peace "Aunty" Enid. We will miss you. xxxxx
