BeverlyBRIGDENPassed away peacefully at the Queen's Centre, Castle Hill, on the 15th March 2023 after a long and brave battle. Daughter of the late Jim and Beryl Brigden. Bev will be greatly missed by her Brother Chris, with whom she shared so much, and by her many friends. Former teacher at Biggin Hill and Parkstone Primary Schools. Bev had such a zest for life. Funeral service to take place at Holy Trinity Church, Leven, on Wednesday 19th April at 1pm prior to interment in the churchyard. Family flowers only please but donations can be made to the Donkey Sanctuary, a charity dear to her heart. Resting at John Parkin & Son, 3 Saltshouse Road. Tel. 376104.

A wonderful teacher who will never be forgotten. Miss Brigden was an engaging, influential and thoughtful lady inspiring me to teach too. Happy memories of Biggin Hill Junior High School. Rest In Peace 💜

So sorry to hear this. Was telling my young daughters of Miss Brigden when asked of my favourite teachers. She supported me when I was the only one in the class who couldn't swim. I had a black and yellow swimsuit and called me her little bumble bee. Such fond memories. God bless Miss Brigden xx
