JanetBRIGGSIt is with great sadness that the family of Mrs Janet Briggs announces her passing, after a brave but short battle with cancer, on Friday, January 15, at the age of 62. Janet passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family. Janet was the dearly loved wife of Graham, mother of Stuart, Katie, and Rachel, and sister of Peter and David. Janet was a very much loved grandma, mother-in-law, sister-in-law and auntie, and a very dear friend to many. Janet was a registered nurse who had a gift for caring for and serving others. In her spare time she was a keen knitter, but loved nothing more than spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. The funeral will be held at Accrington Crematorium on Tuesday, February 2, at 3pm. Family flowers only; donations if desired to Cancer Research UK. Funeral director: Hyndburn Funeral Services.
