David,
You were always Uncle David to Paul, Lynda and David. In fact David was named after you. “Uncle” is appended to a person, where I come from, although not from kinship, but out of respect for an elder person. Here it goes beyond simple respect. If one is fortunate enough, only real uncles would have taken the trouble to take us around the way you did.

Thankyou Uncle David for your sense of humour and kindness when I last visited the UK. You helped me when I was at University and for that I am grateful. You may not be in our lives anymore but you are still in our hearts. Rest in peace. Love from Jeff, Carmina, Jasmine, Jade and Amber.
