Dorothy EileenBRITTONIt is with great sadness for the family to announce that Dorothy, aged 88 years, passed away peacefully on Wednesday 14th February 2024, at Scunthorpe General Hospital.
Beloved wife of the late Ernest, a loving mum to Yvonne and Robert and dear mother-in-law to Nigel and Maria. Dorothy was also a cherished and much-loved Granny to Charlie, Freya and Hannes, loved sister to the late Stan, Ken, Jean and Marjorie, auntie and a special friend to many, who will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
A service to celebrate Dorothy's life will take place at St. Michaels Church on Thursday 14th March 2024 at 1pm followed by burial at Scartho Road Cemetery.
Dorothy is resting at Mashfords Funeral Home Norfolk Lane Cleethorpes DN35 8BB where immediate family flowers only please, will be received. Donations, in lieu of flowers if so desired may be made payable to "The Stroke Association" and sent to the funeral directors.
