Oscar, I first met you when you suffered an industrial accident many years ago, at that time I was employed as a Health & Safety Officer for Operational Services. Whilst aiding you through your recovery we eventually became friends, At that time I was helping set up a kids football team, you immediately organised your contacts to donate any spare equipment including nets and balls etc, Ever since I have never heard anything but great things about you. I stayed in contact with you on and off over the years and I have dropped a few bikes off to aid in your cause. I could go on and on but in finishing I would like just to record that you were one of the most generous and caring people that I have ever had the pleasure to meet. God Bless you Oscar and my you rest in peace.
Oscar Brogden a true Legend.
Kind regards John Henstock

The original, the one and only Oscar, and I am so very proud to call him my friend. He'll be on the main gate up there repairing old bikes and returning lost purses while adding that bit extra. What a generous lovely man. God Bless bro'
