Stephen AlanBROOKOn 15th December 2022 Peacefully at Kirkwood Hospice, after an illness borne with dignity and great fortitude, Stephen aged 77 years of Golcar. Dearly loved husband of Lynne, a loving dad of Alison, Richard, Sean and Nigel, a devoted grandad of Jude, Jessica and Thomas, A private funeral will take place at Huddersfield Crematorium, Fixby, on Thursday 12th January 2023. This will be followed by a funeral reception at the Weavers Shed, 86 Knowle Road, Golcar, HD7 4AN at 12.15pm, where we invite family and friends to join us to celebrate Stephens life, All enquiries to Golcar Funeral Directors, 01484 644650.

I was pleased to have Stephen as a cousin. He was talented, interesting and a pleasing quiet personality, always a smile on his face. A pleasure to know. He will be missed by his wife Lynne and all his family.

Loved seeing your face light up when seeing your grandchildren. They both say that they liked to know about your projects like the boat and train and how you explained how trains worked. It was a pleasure to call you my father in-law and grandad to my children

It was a total privilege being your neighbour for over 23 years. You were always a calm presence; giving advice and lending a hand. You were immensely talented but modest with your skills. The work you produced in your cellar workshop was amazing. We will miss you very much, seeing you potter about and our games nights.
