The obituary notice of Bertram Keir BROOKER

Our thoughts are with the family at this time. Bert was a truly special man whose kindness and generosity to help others really touched us during a family emergency. We will remember him fondly. Libby, Russel and family.

Bert will always remain in my memory, he was such a lovely friend to me and treated my grandson Luca with humour and care. My sincère condolences to Georgia all the family. With love from Claudia and Luca xx

All our sincere condolences. Bert now rests in peace with Berra. They will stay in our memories.

Bert was always keen to help people, and he was a good husband and father - and a good brother-in-law to me. Fortunately I didn't need to use him in his professional role as a psychiatrist, but I am sure he helped many, many people in that role too. He was a quiet man, but could be quite talkative, and enjoyed (and told) a good joke. His enjoyment of sport and the outdoor life had a great influence on the family's choice of recreational pursuits. He had had a good and active life and lived to a good age, and now he is at peace.
