BROOKESBROOKES. - Joan, formerly of The Farmstead, Stoke Aldermoor, on March 5, peacefully aged 88 years at Bennfield House Nursing Home, Thorne, where she had been so lovingly cared for in recent years. The dearly beloved wife of the late Bill, loving mother to Tony, dear mother-in-law of Rosemary and loving Grandma to Peter and Sarah. Joan will be received into St. Joseph and St. Nicholas R.C. Church, Moorends on Thursday, March 13 at 6.30pm. Requiem Mass takes place on Friday, March 14 at 11.00am, to be followed by interment in Thorne Cemetery.
