DellaBROOKESFORMERLY OF HUCCLECOTE Peacefully on March 26th at Saintbridge House Nursing home aged 98 years. Wife of the late Kenneth, dearly loved mother of Susan, Carol, Barbara and Michael and a much loved nanny of Lucie, Edward, Nathan, Kyle and Sam. Funeral service at Gloucester Crematorium on Monday 25th April at 12 noon. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired may be sent for Alzheimer's Society c/o S C and B S Cocks Funeral Directors 59, Hucclecote Road, Gloucester GL3 3TL

Around this time in the evening, three years ago we were preparing to say Night night after an awesome day with you Mummy. You ate a chocolate ice cream and drank a hot chocolate, your words were gone, there was no need to speak any more words. Your eyes were the most sparkly, a dark blue that we hadn't seen for a long time, you were glowing as you turned your eyes to each of us as we spoke. You slept until 7:10 in the morning with a beautiful carer called Nyana, who held your hand as your spirit left this time and dimension to greet your loved ones in a beautiful place that we can only dream of. You were a gift to us, your children and all who knew you and we are truly grateful for your 98 and 3/4 years on this earth. Miss you always Mummy, God bless Della 💖

Happy Birthday Mummy, to the best ever!! I miss you more than you will ever know, my best friend. I miss the laughter, the singing, the music, the gardening together, the peeling of veg together, the picking of blackberries and the sharing of movies etc. etc. I could go on for a very long time.
