LesBROOKESPeacefully in his sleep on Wednesday 26th August 2026, at the Douglas Macmillan Hospice, Les, aged 87 years, of The Westlands, Newcastle. The dearly loved husband of Jill, a cherished dad and grandad, a dear brother in law, and a good friend to many. Les will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by family and friends.
The family would like to thank the Douglas Macmillan Hospice, especially all the staff of Red Wing for their exceptional care and love shown to Les and for the kindness and support shown to Jill and family through a very difficult time.
Funeral service will take place at Bradwell Crematorium Chapel on Tuesday 15th September at 11.20am, followed by a private interment at Silverdale Cemetery. Will relatives and friends kindly meet at Bradwell Crematorium.
