RowlandBROOKS(Windy Nook). Formerly of Bensham. Precious husband of Anne. Peacefully at home on 8th June 2015, aged 77 years, Rowland closed his eyes and went to sleep in the arms of his devoted wife, best friend and soul mate Anne (nee Christensen), for 54 years of marriage, loved son of the late Elsie and Rowland Brooks, brother of Alf and the late Elsie, much loved brother-in-law of Elizabeth, Doris, George and Geordie, loved uncle to Anne and Jimmy and all his many nephews and nieces. My lovely Rowland you were always my friend and supporter but most of all you were my husband. I will always love you and never forget you, my heart goes with you, see you in my dreams. Will family and friends please meet for Funeral Service at St. John's Parish Church, Sheriff Hill on Thursday 18th June at 1.00pm. Cremation to follow at Saltwell Crematorium at 1.45pm.
