CharlesBROUGHPeacefully passed away on 29th September 2024, aged 96 years.

Reunited with his beloved wife. Much loved father, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, grandad and great-grandad. Charles will be very much missed by all who knew and loved him.

The funeral service will take place at 12.15 pm on Monday, October 21st, 2024, at St Thomas Church, Kidsgrove, followed by a cremation at Bradwell Crematorium.

Family flowers only, donations in memory of Charles will be for The Purple Bow Palliative Care Charity at RSUH.

I remember Mr Brough (Charlie) so fondly from my time working at the Bleeding Wolf. I remember him coming in and having his carvery and just being an absolute joy, he had so many lovely stories to tell and the love he had for his wife will always stay with me. Even when she could no longer make it to the pub he would still take a dinner for her and return the plate the following day. He was an utter joy and my condolences are with all of his family and friends. My life is richer for having met Charlie.
