Retired Chief Superintendant of Northumbria Police - Commander of South Tyneside Division Morpeth It is with great sadness that the family of Gordon Brown announce his passing on Monday 5th February 2018 at the age of 80 years. Gordon will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 56 years, Mary and his children, David, Nicola and Joanna and their spouses, Louise, Graham and Lindsay. Gordon will also be fondly remembered by his six grandchildren, Julie, Michael, Laura, Adam, Emily and Sarah and his great-grandchildren, Harry and Joseph. A private cremation will be followed by a Celebration of Gordon's Life at The New Life Christian Centre, Dacre Street, Morpeth on Wednesday 14th February at 2.30pm. Please wear a colourful item. No flowers please but those who wish to may make donations in Gordon's memory to Marie Curie Cancer Care.
