AlanBROWNMR Alan Brown, of Patrick Crescent, died at Blackburn Royal Hospital, on Thursday, March 19, aged 67. A car mechanic, he loved his cars and a pint of Guinness and a roast dinner on a Sunday, and he loved to get the Free Press on a Thursday. Father of Rebecca Lord and Rachael Brown, and brother of Keith, David and Karen, he leaves six grandchildren. The funeral was due to take place on Monday, March 30, at Fred Hamers, Rawtenstall at 11am followed by committal at the cemetery at 12noon.
