GeorgeBROWN(Berwick Upon Tweed) Aged 89, sadly on Sunday 5th March, George "The man with the whistle in his sock", formerly of Otterburn, Norham, Horncliffe, peacefully passed away at Tweedmouth House, Berwick Upon Tweed. Much loved Folk Musician who played Saxophone, Penny Whistle, Mouth Organ & Jaw Harp. A musical celebration funeral will take place on Saturday 25th March 2023 at St Cuthberts Church, Norham at 1pm. A voluntary, slow musical procession from Todlaw (58 Castle Street, Norham TD15 2LQ) to the church gates prior to the service starting at 12:30pm. Everyone is welcome especially musicians and friends.
