As I sit here looking out to sea from the beautiful Amble Harbour. I’m sat here thinking about a man I met 42 years ago. From then on we have laughed and cried and just genuinely had the greatest of times. He was my best man and god father to Grace and just a wonderful friend to me Jo and my family. A lovely person and as I said a few weeks ago a man you don’t meet every day. He made all our lives richer for knowing him. I loved him like a brother and will miss him everyday I know the sadness will turn into smiles eventually but until then RIP Ian god bless

Have some amazing memories because of you, Bonn. That lift home from Yarmouth 84, drenched and then you did a wheelie over a massive puddle and off I came! You have had my life over that for nearly 40 years! I will miss you, mate.
