There isn't anything easy about saying goodbye to such a wonderful person. Grandma was sweet, caring and had a fantastic sense of humour. She would find the good in absolutely anything; "Even rainy days would be good for the ducks." she'd say. Grandma was a great cook; she took immense pride in her appearance and loved being in the company of others.

Chocolates given to Grandma for her birthday were quickly shared out there and then with anyone who came to visit. There wasn't a selfish bone in her body. From here on out, I don't think I'll be able to have a Sherbert Lemon without hearing you say "Take two if you want one".

I'm sure we'll meet again someday; though we'll all miss you like crazy until then. Your homemade apple pie will never be forgotten!

Love always - Tom xxx
