I am so heart broken at the tragic news, so sorry for Suzanne. Paul, beau and Lee. I haven't seen Spencer much the last few years, but every time I did see him, his cheeky smile just made you smile. I remember taking him for a walk in washingwell woods when he was little and he jumped into the stream with his trainers on and proceeded to paddle for half an hour. And the time when he was about 14 and we went for a meal in Brighton and he ordered a whole sea bass, head on full of bones but tucked in and ate the lot. I will forever remember your adventurous spirit and super smile. X auntie Hazel

I watched Spencer grow from five years old, I was a few years above him at Washingwell primary school. I can still see him now, I sometimes helped him clean his tray when he was just a little boy as I was older. He was very quiet little boy and shy, but had that cheeky smile all the time.

Then I lived in whickham and we would see each other in the park and around whickham, I always looked out for him being older, and he always brought a smile to my face.

In 2017 we met each other on a course, and our friendship got even stronger. We would meet up regularly and went out together. He would come to my house often.

I just cant believe what's happened Spencer, I hear your voice now, I see that smile, and I am heart broken my brother, truly devastated. Words just dont cut it.

We hadn't seen each other in about a year due to circumstances, but nothing would ever stand in the way of our friendship, which stemmed from us being little boys.

You're are going to be such a massive miss, my thoughts and prayers are with your lovely family.

I'm going to miss you for the rest of my life, but I know the Lord will protect you and look after your kind soul.

Forever your friend, and I'll forever miss you brother.

Such a tragedy!!!
I didn’t know Spencer so well personally as I hadn’t seen him since he was a small boy… HOWEVER, I know he grew up with the guidance and influence of two of the finest, honest and hard working people I have ever had the pleasure to know and work with in my life…. His fantastic parents Paul and Suzanne!
I hope your pain is smothered and suppressed with the glowing pride and cherished memories of a fine young man I have no doubt, taken so prematurely and shockingly cruelly from such wonderfully warm and kind people …..
I’m so very sorry.
