Peacefully at home with his loving family by his side on Wednesday 12th November 2025, aged 82 years.
Walter, beloved, husband of the late Ruth, loving dad of Claire and Andrew, father in law to Jon and Becky, treasured grandad of Sophie, Katie, Amelia, Louis and Alice.
Walter will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.
Funeral Service to be held at St Peters Church, Druridge Drive NE5 3LP on Tuesday 2nd December at 11.30am, followed by Cremation at the West Road at 12.30pm.
Family flowers only please, donations if so desired to Great North Children's Hospital.
