Passed away suddenly at home on 17th June 2026 aged 58 years.

Lynda was the beloved wife of Andrew, a much loved mother to David and Helen, cherished mother in law to Megan. Devoted daughter to Margaret. Loved friend and colleague.

Known to many through her dedicated work as a General Practitioner, she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A funeral service in celebration of Lynda's life will take place at 1pm on Thursday 9th July 2026 at Mearns Kirk, followed by St Mungo's Chapel, Linn Crematorium at 2pm.

Donations will be gratefully accepted for Bliss (for babies born premature or sick) and SAMH (Scottish Action for Mental Health).

I was a junior hairdresser when I first met you over 30 years ago.You then becoming my Gp by pure chance.We built a lovely bond.You saved my life in December. As my doctor that knew me well enough to know I needed urgent medical care.I will miss you & I hope you have the best bed in heaven.You will be sorely missed.Sleep tight Doc.Mandy & family 💔

I first met Lynda when she was late for her own wedding! Since then we have enjoyed many wonderful times together. Sailing, her cooking or simply relaxing in her company. Above all a true and loving friend. Memories will last forever.
