Dear Karina, I met you many years ago in my teens when I found out your dad was Whams manager . I rode my bike to your house and chatted with you in your garden . You got your dad to come out . He told me to come back next week , I was ill that week and mum wouldn't allow me too so the following week I turned up at your house . Your dad told me George and Andrew had been there . I never forget how upset I was but your wonderful dad had taken the time to ask wham for a signed photo to me with my name on it ,I still treasure that photo . Your dad was a kind man who took the time to make a wham fan very happy . So sorry to hear that he passed away I won't forget what he did for me and that photo is even more special now that George has died . RIP

To Greta, Karina and family.

We are saddened and shocked to hear of Brian's passing. You will remember Roy who shared a room with Brian at Putney for many months on Devonshire Ward. During that stay we witnessed the love and devotion from the family and Brian's friends. I especially recall the chats I had with Brian's mum whom I had great admiration for. Please pass on our condolences to her during what must be a very difficult period for you all. Brians character was evident even during his rehabillitation period and although they never had the chance to talk to each other Roy and Brian shared a special bond. Both very courageous men who have suffered greatly. May Brian Rest in Peace. Roy remains in a BUPA Nursing Home in Claygate and we all send you our love and best wishes. Kevin (Roy's son) Marjorie (Roys Wife) Mandy and all of the family in Surrey.,

Was an amazing person to met, love or hated , but didn't pass away without leaving his mark.
He made his dreams come true regardless the profit he can make. always thinking HE was the person to make it worth, he had the midas touch. There is a turning point in the polo world, after and before he found the polo club.
There was an increase of business around thanks to the place, brokers, incoming patrons, farm and feed suppliers, transports, pubs , etc, all of them should accept the credit with no doubt. The other thing i like to remark , as people doesn't know , is he was the first one to introduce winter arena polo in the uk. he saw that in usa and like the idea to have something to do in winter. That gaves a lot of jobs for grooms, players and others SO MANY OWE SO MUCHO TO BAM.He was an artist, and as an artist have a lot of critics . A person able to walk with kings , nor loose the touch with common people.
He was a king in his kingdom, and he gave his kingdom for horse.
