Everyone says there grandparents are the best, but I have never meet anyone like my Nan.
I was truly blessed to have her in my life and spent my life growing up with her.
She was a loyal, beautiful lady who was loved and cared about not only by our family but by our friends. She would go out of her way to help anyone she possibly could and always made sure she thought about others before her own needs. If you ever needed anyone, she was only a phone call away. The kind of love Nan, felt for us was a love without condition. She may not have approved of everything we did, may not have liked some of the decisions we made, but she didn’t lecture, she didn’t judge. She just kept loving us, letting us know that she was there and if we ever needed her, we could count on her to listen, to comfort, to help.
As hard as it is to except she has gone. I’m blessed with many happy memories of her. I had her in my life for many years and in those years she made some real impacts on me.
I’m sure everyones memories are much like mine. They are good memories, something we’ll always have to cherish. It isn’t often in our lives that we come across someone so special that that person stays with you forever. Nan was that kind of person.
Although your not here anymore I know your looking down at me and will continue to guide me down the right path.

Thank you for being part of my life nan, thank you for being you.
I love you and will miss you.

Miss you Nan, you’re in a better place and will never be forgotten.
Is sad that you will never meet your first great grand son/daughter but I know you will be looking down on us. Love you, Nan. Time to rest now xxx
