Dear Nan,

You were the kindest and most selfless person I've ever known and I know that title will always be yours. You exuded warmth and love. Taking me in, in probably the most difficult, lost period of my life and constantly bringing me up, motivating me, putting a smile on my face when I'd had a bad day. Giving you lowdown on my love life over a gargantuan brekkie! You helped make me the man I am today and if there was ever such thing as a perfect Nan, that was you. The mark you made on this world will live on from generation to generation. A blessing on all of us, that's gone from this world too soon, but you're now in a better one with the finest tea there's ever been. Ashton will know all about his great Nan and I know you'll be watching down on him. Never forgotten and always missed. An angel's returned to heaven. Rest easy Nan.

I love you,

Nathan.

Dear Nanny Red,

There aren't enough words to describe how much I love you, and how much I miss you.

You were the strongest, and kindest soul I've had the pleasure to know. I am beyond proud to be lucky enough to be your granddaughter.

I will forever cherish all my memories of you. You made my childhood special. Playing marry me 100 times (as you said our Emma can't get married she'd be a bigamist), teaching me how to bake and cook, encouraging me to read, and sparking my interest in history.

In my adult life, you've been a constant support. I enjoyed getting to know you more as your own person, and your life.

You were self-taught, loved history (especially family history and queen Victoria), you loved horror films and ghost stories, you were an avid reader and you had an amazing sense of humour.

I loved hearing stories of the dances that you went to, family history in Ireland, what it was like growing up on Parley, the get togethers you had with your siblings, and meeting grandad when you weren't expecting it.

You lived your life to the fullest; you were a rock to all your loved ones through the good and bad. Thank you for all your love and devotion as a Mother and Nan. It is down to you that we have our amazing family.

I will always miss you, but I take comfort in knowing you are reunited with all the loved ones you lost, and that you are no longer in pain.

Rest well Nanny Red, and give all my love to Grandad.

Lots of love, Emmaboo xxx

To my beautiful mum, end of an era, I know you're at peace now mum, no longer fighting in pain. I take comfort knowing you're with all your siblings mother and father, and the love of your life Keith, reunited together.
My mum was the most selfless person I have ever known, she was the carer , listener always putting others before herself. Her door was always open, cuppa chat reassurance guidance she would always greet you with her big beautiful smile. My mother has always been the carer, and now it's time for you to rest and be looked after, my mum brought so much happiness to my life and my children and many others. She was always up for anything , a sense of humour second to none, bright spark. Thank you mum for everything you have taught and passed onto me and your grandchildren, all the stories history and the happy times memories I have to keep and treasure , always in my heart is were you'll be mum until we meet again , rest now mum. love you always your daughter Tracy xx

Ann was a funny, kind and fallible woman who weathered plenty of hard times with courage and humour, she accepted people as they were, selflessly helping her immediate and extended family when they needed it the most.
For such a little woman she's left a massive hole in the lives of those who had the fortune to know and love her.
Taken too soon and sincerely missed.
