WinifredBUCHANEnglish Martyrs Parish mourns the death of the late Winifred Buchan who passed away on Saturday 4th February 2023, aged 89 years. She worked for Rolls Royce until retirement in 1998 when she devoted her life to the church and the community volunteering for the Girl Guide Movement, the Duffield Group, working with the homeless, the Padley Centre, Derby City Council and Derby Association of Community Partners including Derby Homes where she helped with the Credit Union and served on the Tenant Panel. A committed member of the local churches together movement. Reception into English Martyrs Roman Catholic Church on Thursday 9th March 2023 at 6.30pm. Funeral service to be held on Friday 10th March 2023 at 11.00am followed by the committal at Trent Valley Crematorium. No flowers please.
