PeterBUDWORTHOn the 28th April 2022, we said goodbye to Peter Budworth. A beloved husband, father, step father, grandad, step grandad, brother and uncle. He'd fought many battles in his life but his short fight with pancreatic cancer weakened his body but not his mind, he fought hard to the bitter end. Peter said his final goodbyes in the comfort of his home, supported by Karen and Tessa, the care he received was second to none. Peter leaves behind wife Karen, daughters Gail and Tessa, son Carl, stepsons Martyn and the late Harvey and he was a wonderful grandfather to many grandchildren. I'm sure you'll join me in saying 'Thank you for being you', you never faltered in the love you gave to those around you, you will be missed. A service to celebrate Peter's life will take place at Carmountside Crematorium on Thursday 26th May at 1pm and mourning clothes are not essential. Family flowers only please, donations preferred in memory of Peter to the Douglas Macmillan Hospice.
