Lou…
I’ve lingered over whether to leave a message on here; my sorrow at your passing feels so insignificant to the pain your family and closest friends will be experiencing right now.
However, it is an opportunity to ensure they hear from others of what your living truly gave.
As a member of a beautiful school family at Oldbury Park, your gift was immeasurable. You would walk into that school and bring warmth to a cold corridor, peace to a troubled playground, joy to a silent staffroom. Hundreds, maybe thousands, of children snuggled in your lap, the safety and comfort of your soul somewhere they sought refuge when the world seemed so scary.
You were genuine. You were wholesome. Your spirit was pure. You gave to the world far more than it could ever give you in return and I will never forget the softness of your smile which would make gentle even the hardest of hearts.

For those you leave behind….
Grief, of course, is really just love. It’s all the love you want to give, but cannot. All that unspent love gathers up in the corners of your eyes, the lump in your throat, and in that hollow part of your chest. Grief is just love with nowhere to go.

The Oldbury Family will eternally love you. Thank you.

Dear Adam, Ollie and Toby,
Louise and I started our school life at Ronkswood Infants when we were 4 yrs old. 18yrs ago I went to work at Oldbury Park and we started school life again working together.
Louise was kind and caring always the professional, my memory will be her colourful clothes ,checking her Fitbit to see how many steps she had done.
We will miss her, lots of love Shirley xxx

Adam, Oliver, and Toby,

It was a true privilege to know Louise. She had a way of lighting up every room she entered and was one of the most loving and caring people I have ever met.

Pete and I have so many happy memories of time spent at your home while the boys were growing up—wonderful food, warm hospitality, and, of course, Adam’s great bread-making!

Sending all our love,

Amanda, Peter, Ben, and Lexi xxx
