William (Bill)BURDGEFormerly of Bow Farm, Badgworth, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully in his sleep at home on 21st October 2021, aged 88 years. Devoted husband to his late wife Jane, loving father of Julie, Maria, Sarah & Ian, wonderful grandad of Jon, Chris, Grace, Joy, Titus, Oliver, Laura & Flo and good friend to so many. A wonderful, positive, gentle and cheerful man of faith, Bill will be greatly missed by all his family and many friends. His funeral service will be held at St Congar's Church, Badgworth - the village where he spent most of his life - at 2pm on Friday 12th November. Family flowers only but donations if desired in aid of Farming Crisis Network, Africa Inland Mission and St Congar's Church may be left at the church or sent to Cheddar and District Funeral Directors Ltd, Redcliffe Street, Cheddar BS27 3ND.
