DorothyBURNETTFormer head teacher of St Andrew's School, Malton, passed away peacefully in hospital, surrounded by her family, on Friday, January 20th 2023, aged 86 years. Devoted wife of the late Norman and the late Douglas, beloved sister of Margaret, cherished aunt of Neil and family, a dear sister-in-law and a good friend to many. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Following a private, family cremation, a thanksgiving service will be held at St Michael's Parish Church on Monday 13th February at 2:30pm. Refreshments will be served afterwards. Family flowers only, donations if desired after the service will go to the British Heart Foundation, Save the Children and the RNIB.
