Hi Daddy,
9 years ago today we had the most horrible day when you left us.
I'm sorry I couldn't ease your suffering, it keeps me awake at night.
I love you so much Dad. We've been watching the old DVDs and you are so happy on them, we all are.

So much has happened Dad and you've been needed for all of it.
We've lost Pearlie, can't believe how quickly everything happened. We miss her a lot Dad.
I'll keep looking after mom, Rosie and Verity for you xx

It's your birthday tomorrow Dad and I'll be too upset to write anything tomorrow so if it's ok I'll write it today instead.
Happy Birthday Dad, I'm so sorry you are not here with us to celebrate. Know that you are loved and missed more than words could ever be invented to describe.

Hi Dad, you'd be 80 in 6 days time, how mad is that.
I'd have been saving for ages, trying to make it as special as possible.
