JoyceCADIEPassed away peacefully at Hoar Cross Care Home, Staffordshire, on 29th February 2024, aged 98 years.
Born in Wolverhampton to Eva and Billy Dean, and sister to Meurig L Dean and brother Jeff.
Joyce married FM Graham Cadie at Tettenhall, Wolverhampton in 1949.
Her first-born were twins, Diana S and Julian AG, born in Wolverhampton in 1950.
The family moved to Erdington, Birmingham, where Rebecca (Becky) M was born in 1959 and Celia J in 1960.
They then moved to West Byfleet, Weybridge, Surrey, then again to Helensburgh, Dumbartonshire in 1968.
A few years’ later they built a new home at Rhu, not far from Helensburgh.
Following Graham’s retirement they lived in Somerset, before returning north again, first to Lytham St Anne’s, and then on to Yoxall, Staffordshire.
Wherever they lived, Joyce’s constant joy was to sing, performing as a soloist and in the chorus in operettas, and in her local church. This joy was accompanied by flower arranging, of which she became a respected proponent, demonstrating and exhibiting her art to clubs around the country, including the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

Joyce's funeral will be held on Tuesday 12th March, 2pm at St Peters Church, Yoxall DE13 8PD.
A private burial will follow.
Family floral tributes only, due to it being the period of Lent.
However, the family would welcome small potted spring flowers if preferable to plant in the churchyard.

Donations can be made and will benefit the Mothers' Union Literacy and Financial Education Programme. The can be placed in the donation box provided at the service.
