CathieCAIRNEYPassed away peacefully at Lavender Fields Care Home, Sevenoaks, surrounded by family on 11th January 2025 aged 95.
Born and raised in Glasgow, Cathie, formerly of Quarry Cottages, Sevenoaks, was a longstanding member of St Thomas RC Church parish and choir, and retired caretaker of St Thomas RC Primary School. She has rejoined her darling husband James and will be sadly missed by all her family and friends, including children Robert, Catherine, Jacqueline and Margaret, grandchildren Jennifer, Paul, James, Andrew and Charlie and her children's partners Maggie, Paul and Anthony.
Cathie will be remembered for her smile, beautiful singing voice and loyalty to her friends and family.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th, at 11:00 at St Thomas of Canterbury RC Church, 12 Granville Rd, Sevenoaks, Kent, TN13 1ER.
The family kindly requests those who attend wear casual attire as Cathie would have encouraged everyone to wear what made them happy.
