Marian was a life-long friend of my Mum's, Mary Guy-Shea (Ottawa, Canada). They were in Sea Rangers together.
In 2017 I made a special trip to Brixham to see the place that my Mum grew up. I was blessed to have spent some time with Marian... we had 2 visits and chatted on for hours, over tea. She was so special to Mum and to me.
We kept in touch in the years since my visit, and I wondered why my last couple of emails went un-returned.
My love to her family.
Rest dear Marian, thank you for inviting me into your home.
