We met Drew but once, at a family gathering a few years ago. Yet he left an indelible impression—a confident, understated man who loved and cherished his family, friends, and good company. Taken far too soon, his passing reminds us of a poem from long ago, apropos today (adapted): He shall grow not old as we that are left grow old. Age shall not weary him, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, he will be remembered.
Our hearts go out to Gail, Jack, and Abbie. With love from the USA,
Yoshi, Pam, Phil, and Jim, and all the extended American cousins
