at the Royal Derby Hospital
on Sunday 9th September 2018, just short of his
92nd birthday. Beloved Husband of Sheila and
much cherished Dad,
Grandpa, Opa, Father-in-Law, Uncle and more.
He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
A special thank you to all
his carers and nurses and,
in particular, the support network of friends and neighbours from the surrounding area and
the Church who have
been so kind over the
last few years.
Reception into The Holy Family Church, 108 Blenheim Drive, Allestree DE22 2LG on Wednesday 26th September at 5pm.
Alfred's funeral service will take place on Thursday
27th September at
12.30pm.
Followed by a celebration
of his life at which, on his
strict instruction, drinks should flow but tears may certainly not.
No flowers please.
