Graham became Dragon Crescent Housemaster in 1983 and I had the pleasure of knowing him as House Captain in 1985. From all in my year including Gary Davies, Richard Edwards, Mark Clayton, John Freeman, Marcus Hilton (deceased), Anthony Bailey and all 'housemates' in Dragon Crescent during my tenure ... he was a dutiful, true and kind gentleman who had everyone's interests at heart. On behalf of everyone in DC may I share our sadness at this time but remember with fondness the time we spent at school under his 'watch'.
Rest in peace Graham ... you did an EXCELLENT job my friend!

May our loving Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, receive his servant with peace. Yes, Graham was there for everyone at Rossall.

I knew Graham in the mid 1970’s at Rossall. He was a generous kind gentleman. I knew his mother through him who long time passed away . I was to be ordained into the priesthood but became a lawyer instead. He taught me to care about others as well as myself. School was all about self preservation! I never knew if he had any family . If he did then sincere condolences to them. He is in a better place.Requiesce in pace, mi amice. John Swindell

This is very sad news about a man who helped so many young people during his years as a teacher, chaplain and house master at Rossall School. Having met up again a couple of years ago it was wonderful to see that slight twinkle of mischief in his eyes that as a boy in Dragon and Crescent House you knew meant you were being told off for doing something wrong, but not to worry too much about it. Rest in peace Graham and thank you.
