William KevinCANON REAPassed away peacefully on 28th January 2021 at Nazareth House, Plymouth, aged 96 years. Ordained a Catholic priest in Rome on 10th July 1949 and ministered in the Diocese of Plymouth for over 71 years. Requiem Mass will be held at the Cathedral Church of St Mary and St Boniface, Plymouth. Due to COVID restrictions Requiem Mass attendance is by invitation only. The Requiem Mass will be live streamed on the Diocese of Plymouth YouTube channel. If you would like the link, please email crownhill@wcpltd.com No flowers by request. I remember Cannon Rea when I was at St Paul's Catholic primary school in St Budeaux in the 60's. He was a wonderful priest.

Uncle Kevin never forgot his roots and he used to return regularly to his native town of mallow Co. Cork. Kevin was very interested in family and always stayed in touch. May he rest in peace now that his journey is complete and enjoy his eternal reward. Margie, David and family, Blarney.

Humble,gentle priest, who dedicated his life to God and guided us with a good foundation of our faith, in St Paul’s school and church and was a very good,kind, caring,priest to our family for over 50 years. And 25 years ago married us at St Joan of Arc Torpoint. We were so blessed that God gave you to us for 71 years, dedicated to the parishioners of Plymouth diocese, now God has called you back, may you rest peacefully in the arms of Jesus.
