JohnCAREYMR John Carey, of Hollin Way, Rawtenstall, died on Wednesday, January 15 at home, aged 82. John was a builder and also did maintenance at Rossendale General Hospital for 30 years. In his spare time he enjoyed football, sport, photography and gardening. He leaves wife Joan, son Stephen, daughter Lynn, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The funeral service took place on Thursday, January 30, with prayers at the Chapel of Rest, James Street, Rawtenstall, followed by cremation at Burnley Crematorium.
