LesCARRPeacefully at home on 17th January aged 94 years, Les (former Dixielander and local entertainer). Dearly loved husband of the late Audrey and dearest Dad of John and Carol. Friends invited to service at Saltwell Crematorium on Thursday 27th January at 11.15am. All welcome afterwards to a celebration buffet and drinks at the Thomas Wilson Club. Donations may be made at the service for the Macular Society (Les lost his sight in later life) or flowers can be arranged via the funeral director. I only cared for you a short while but in that time you won over my heart ❤. I can't recall how many renditions of Frank Sinatra's My Way and Dean Martin's Little old wine drinker we sang together. You have left a massive void in all of your carer's hearts. We all have our own special memories and we will remember you forever..
Now sleep soundly Les may you rest in eternal peace.
