MaryCARRIEPeacefully on Wednesday 24th April, at home, surrounded by her loving family, Mary, aged 78 years, sadly passed away. Devoted Wife of Michael. Loving Mam of Mark, Queenie and the late Thomas, treasured Mother-In-Law of Deb. Idolised and adored Nanna of Lillie and Jasmine. Much-loved Sister, Sister-In-Law, and Auntie. Mary was a good friend to many and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

A service to celebrate Mary's life will be held at Old Clee Church, Church Lane, Grimsby, DN32 8NB, on Thursday 16th May, at 11:00am.

Family flowers only please. Donations may be made in Mary's memory to The Alzheimer's Society UK. A donations box for this chosen charity will also be available at the service. All enquiries to the Funeral Director,

A dancing queen she was, still seventeen at heart,
She, her red lipstick and dancing shoes were never far apart.
A golden soul set free,
Dancing and playing bingo with loved ones in heaven I guarantee.

She was one in a million, truly unique,
We cried with laughter every time she would speak.
She lived her life for all of us, we never will forget,
She lives on in our memories, for all those that she met.

Although our hearts are breaking, we cherish the time we had,
For a life without our Mary, would have been truly sad.
Everyone has a Mary story, including you and me,
So tell it for the years to come and forever she will be.

Mary - how lucky was I to spend my childhood with you. You were the most generous and fun Aunty anyone could ever have, and I will never forget the night you dressed up as "Avaline" for me!
Thank you for the happy memories and everything you ever did for me. Your humour, unforgettable laugh, stories and colourful language makes me smile when I think of you.
You really were simply the best and I'll love and miss you forever.
