Ellen Margaret ThomsonCARRUTHERSFrom Bridge of Allan (originally Greenock) passed away, surrounded by family, on Friday 2nd September at Forth Valley Royal Hospital aged 91 Years after years of a long and courageous struggle with failing health. Ellen was the devoted wife to the late Alec, dearly loved mother of Sandra and Alister and mother-in-law to Leslie and Linda, treasured Granny to Ross and Haley, dear sister to Madge and a great friend. Funeral service to take place at Riverside House, 2 Forth Street, Stirling on Friday 16th September at 11:30am followed by burial at Logie Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if so desired, will be gratefully received for Strathcarron Hospice. Will be remembered for her great and selfless love of family, her feistiness and sense of humour
