On Saturday 6th May 2023, Edgar sadly passed away at The Royal Cornwall Hospital, Truro, aged 76 years.

Beloved husband of Jenny, devoted father of Leonard, Adam and Hayley, loving grandfather of Mailli Rae and Tamlyn.

Funeral service at Lizard Parish Church, on Wednesday 31st May at 1:30 pm, followed by interment at Lizard Cemetery.

Family flowers only, but donations welcomed for Cornwall Air Ambulance & Cancer Research UK, via this page, by way of a retiring collection, or sent to the Funeral Director.

Dear Jenny, Len, Adam, Hayley and family,

We are thinking of you at this very difficult time and offer our sincerest condolences 💐

Such a huge part of our Regent family, it’s been our absolute pleasure and privilege to get to know Edgar closely in these past years.

We can never thank him enough for all of the hard work he put in to help us get the cafe off the ground in that first mad month before opening and throughout, even just weeks ago he was up a ladder, painting the ceiling! He was so helpful, selfless and kind. Owner of the best laugh EVER and the most cheery smile.

Who will I moan about Tottenham Hotspur’s inadequacies with now?

Edgar wherever you are, I hope you’ve got a latte (or maybe a pint) and the best piece of cake on offer.

We will miss you so terribly sir. Rest in peace.
