EricCARTERIt is with great sadness that Eric, husband of the late Maureen passed away peacefully and swiftly on the 14th October 2023 after many years of health battles.

Dearly loved by his daughter Marie and son Martin, son in law Nigel, daughter in law Claire and his cherished grandchildren Luke, Beth, Nathan, Matthew and Sarah. Also a dear brother, uncle and friend to many.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday 27th October at Trent Valley Crematorium at 3.30pm.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu for Dementia UK may be given on the day, online or sent to A. W. Lymn

I was so sorry to hear of Eric's passing. He made a huge contribution to Boulton Lane Park Community Centre over the years and worked tirelessly to keep it running. He did a great job of keeping a tight hand on the finances and has left an excellent legacy there!
On a personal level, he was always very straight and plain-speaking, but unerringly polite and a real gentleman.
