Keen swimmer, gardener, darts player, philatelist, reader. Ex RAF and long-time employee of C.A. Parsons.
Loved and much missed by daughter Elaine, sons David and Paul, their partners David, Jay and Tracey, and grandchildren Rachel and Ben, Isla and Rory, and Daniel.
Also Richard's late wife Irene Carver (née Broughton) who died on February 24th, 2026, aged 91.
Richard's funeral will take place at Whitley Bay Crematorium, Blyth Road NE26 4NH on Friday, June 5th, at 12 noon.
Donations at the service to be split between the Alzheimer's Society and Cancer Research UK.
