Frances ElizabethCARWARDINEBetty It is with great sadness the family of our beautiful Betty announce her passing on 7th February 2021, aged 80 years, after courageously spending her final year battling a cruel illness. Betty fell asleep peacefully at Marie Curie Hospice, Penarth and will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 60 years Malcolm, her children Susan, Janice, Nigel & Ian, their partners Robert, Stuart, Claire & Michelle, her grandchildren Samantha, Christopher, Ross, Ben, Jack, Megan, Molly, Scott & Harry, and her great grandson River. Also sadly missed by her brothers, sisters in law, brothers in law, her adored nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, her extended family and many friends. Betty was the most amazing woman, always putting others before herself and a fantastic friend to everyone. She will leave a massive void in all our lives but will live on in our hearts and memories forever. The funeral will be held at 10.15am on Monday, 8th March 2021 at Wenallt Chapel, Thornhill Crematorium. Unfortunately, due to Covid only 30 people can attend and will be invitation only. We also welcome anyone who wishes to pay their respects, to socially distance line Thornhill Road, outside the crematorium. Betty,
When you were 17 you became my Godmother, then 3 years later you married Malcolm and became my sister in law too.
You have always been there, especially over the last 36 years, when I got married, when I had my children you were like a mother to me and I will miss you terribly, Thank you.
Rest in peace now, you shall always be in my thoughts.
