Maurice AntonyCASEYThe funeral of Maurice Casey has taken place, his death having occurred on 14th November at Halton Haven Hospice, aged 85. The family would like to thank all those who attended the Requiem Mass at St. Bede's Church in Widnes and to Father Bill Murphy for a lovely service there and at the Widnes Crematorium afterwards. Maurice was a keen member of both the St. Helen's Singers and the Gemini Musical Theatre Company and the family was delighted that members of both performed one of his favourite songs from the Gilbert & Sullivan opera, The Pirates Of Penzance, "When a Felon's Not Engaged in his Employment", at the Crematorium. Many thanks to all those who sent cards & paid for Masses too and thanks also to Frank Dooley & Son, Funeral Directors, for their help and support and to all the staff at Halton Haven Hospice. All donations were greatly appreciated and accepted for the Hospice.
