Kenneth JamesCATONPeacefully passed away at RSUH on Friday 1st May 2026, with his loving and devoted wife by his side and surrounded by his family.

Beloved husband of Joan, much loved father of Robert and Jacqueline, and dear father-in-law of Lisa. A loving grandfather to Robert, Joe, William, James, Lucy, and the late Jack.

Ken was a dearly loved brother of the late Bill, Margaret, Gwen, and John, and a cherished friend to so many. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Funeral service to take place at Bradwell Crematorium on Friday 22nd May at 11:20am. All relatives and friends wishing to attend are kindly asked to meet at the crematorium.

Flowers are welcome, or donations if preferred to The Douglas Macmillan Hospice.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks to all the staff on Ward 103 at RSUH for the care and dedication shown to Ken. Your kindness will always be remembered.

Ken I knew you for many years, you were a lovely, kind, funny man and a great neighbour along with your wonderful wife Joan. You will be very sadly missed. Our love and thoughts are with you Joan and your lovely family. Rest in peace now Ken.
