LeslieCAVESunrise 25th April 1952 Sunset 24th November 2024 Aged 72
It is with immense sadness, we announce Leslie Cave's passing in his home on 24th November 2024 after a battle with cancer.
Les was a loving son, brother, devoted husband, and amazing father and grandfather. Les and his late wife Frances had three children and 11 grandchildren.
He will be remembered for his humour, kindness and generosity. He could make everybody laugh and never missed an opportunity for a quick witty remark. Whenever we would get there first, he would return his signature phrase "I could resemble that remark." His generosity knew no bounds, and his kindness was unconditional. He was treasured by all who were lucky enough to meet him.
Les is reunited with Fran, the love of his life. He passed one day after their wedding anniversary. He loved and missed her greatly.
Les lived with his daughter, Natalie, and her family in West Derby. We were so blessed to have him move in with us, and he had a new lease of life. He enjoyed family holidays, movie nights, parties, watching the Reds at Anfield with his son-in-law John, and many of his favourite Chinese take-aways!
We will love you forever and remember you as the best Dad and Grandad we could have ever wished for. All of our love - Natalie, John, Jack, Livia, Hollie and Rhea.
From his cousin, Norma: In Loving Memory of My Handsome cousin Les Light a candle and see it glow Watch it dance when you're feeling low. Think of him. Think of light. He will be with you day and night. A candle flickers out of sight In your heart he will burn so bright. Ever-loving cousin Norma and family
