MaryCHADWICKMiss Mary Chadwick, of Crooked Shore, Bacup, died at the Royal Blackburn Hospital on Friday, July 2, aged 94. Mary worked for many years at Heightside, the former headquarters of the European Christian Mission, where she was employed in the printing department. A committed Christian, Mary was a member of Doals Baptist Church, Weir, where she was a primary Sunday school leader, and also church secretary. Until recently Mary was very active. She was a member of the Torch Fellowship and, when she was able, attended Trinity Baptist Church in Bacup. Mary will be very sadly missed by her loving family, niece Barbara, nephew Philip, greatniece Joanne, her husband Jonathan, and their children Noah and Bethany, and her great-nephew Matthew, his wife Emma, and their children Maxwell, Cole, and Owen. The family would also like to thank the staff at the Royal Blackburn Hospital for the care they gave to Mary. Mary’s funeral service will be held in Trinity Baptist Church on Thursday, July 15 at 1.15pm, followed by interment at Bacup Cemetery at 2pm. Family flowers only please, with donations in Mary’s memory if desired to Release International (helping persecuted Christians internationally) c/o funeral director Alderson & Horan Funeral Services, Burnley Road, Crawshawbooth.
